Good win but the Dodgers series is gonna be tough. Face Urias, Scherzer and Buehler. Avoiding a sweep there is a W.

And then at Colorado. Phillies got nats and Marlins this week. This was a huge win today

Just get one in LA and split with COL and they will come home holding serve. Anything better than that is gravy.

The Phillies are an afterthought and the Mets are a joke. The time to scoreboard watch is over.

Mets won't even win a fight against their own fans. No way they are beating any other team for the division.

But are they .500 or better against each team individually?

Lol, no. It’s worded weird, and also a cherry picked statistic.

Phillies aren’t nearly as good as the Braves, but they have a soft schedule and 3 in Atlanta. They are still very much alive in the division.

There's a reason they play the games. As it stands right now, I think the Braves are better and the Hoskins' injury really puts a hole in the Phillies' line-up. I predicted when the Braves were mid-run that it would boil down to the last three games with the Phillies. It doesn't look that way now (and I would be happy to be dead wrong), but there's still a month of baseball left.

Another thing people don't seem to be looking at closely is the NL wild-card race where all eyes are on the Reds and Padres. Padres have been in free fall and the Reds aren't world-beaters. Phillies will obviously have to play well to either catch the Braves or sneak past the Reds and Padres, but they are actually closer in the wild-card race than they are in the division.

The Phillies are also currently without Realmuto who is injured and out of the lineup and their backup C Knapp is on the Covid DL lol. For awhile it seemed the Phillies were the one team coming away relatively unscathed with injuries while the Mets and Braves piled up.
