Nice slate of pitchers. All four are legit prospects.

I wonder when we'll see Allard.

That's what I figured they'd do. Must have missed them saying it. Can't wait to see what he'll do.

Ellis was great in the first three innings. Nine up, nine down.

Fourth was a bad inning. Mobile scored six runs with four hits, a walk, and a hits batsman. An error also factored in

Albies with a hit, sac fly and SB tonight. Swanson has a hit. Riley is 1-3 with an RBI-single but he has two errors.

It's 4-0 G-Braves as Jace hits a 3-run triple down RF line. Dude is heating up down there.

He also looks pretty good in CF.

He had been playing second base in AAA but had been practicing in OF too and started in CF tonight. Of course he played LF in MLB this year too. Further, Jace is a natural shortstop and athletic enough that like Prado he can probably play almost anywhere. Texas has Desmond now in CF and he's done good there after playing before this year only infield. A lot of shortstops can play most positions including CF.

If jace can play LF, cf, 2b, SS, and maybe 3b, he could be a nice utility player.

He's already showed enough in LF, 2B, SS and 3B. I think he'll be fine in CF too.

Yup. Someone like Peraza is going to end up playing just about everywhere.

Yea, Peraza was also playing CF for the Reds just like he did in AAA a bit with us.

Some observations from tonight's game in Mobile:

Chris Ellis: As mentioned above, fourth inning was a bad one. Did allow a couple baserunners in the fifth, but didn't allow any more damage. His control just went away in the 4th. First three, he was great.

Dansby Swanson: 1-3 with a single and a walk. Didn't get a chance to show his defense.

Dustin Peterson. Drove in one run the hard way with a bases loaded HBP.

Dian Toscano: Single and a walk. Showed off the arm a couple times, throwing lasers from RF to third base, not allowing runners to advance.

What's your impression on Toscano? He look like a player?
