    Foreign Policy Adviser: Guilty

    Personal Attorney: Guilty

    Deputy Campaign Chair: Guilty

Let’s not forget that Michael Cohen was also Deputy Finance Chair of the RNC. Or that Elliot Broidy, the other Deputy Finance Chair, is under investigation for selling influence.

"Trump’s frustration with Sessions has even caused him to turn on Giuliani. Over the weekend, Trump blamed Giuliani for the entire Russia probe. According to a person to whom the conversation was described, Trump loudly said to his lawyer: “It’s your fault! I offered you attorney general, but you insisted on being secretary of state. Had I picked you none of this would be happening.” (The White House declined to comment.)"

Is it even possible to feel .0001% bad for Guiliani after reading this? Hahahah

Manafort guilty on 8 counts, mistrial declared on 10, which charges can be re-filed. Regardless of whether those charges are re-filed, he’s got another trial coming up in Maryland.

Just now remembering Hawk scolding me for saying Manafort was looking at dying in jail.

The charges he was found guilty of today carry a max penalty of 85 years. He still has the DC trial to go, and apparently the deadlocked charges today hinges on a technical question of whether he was obligated to report on assets owned 50/50 with his wife. No parole in the federal system. Dude is going to die in jail.

Cohen apparently put Trump in the jackpot on the campaign finance stuff.

[edit: whoops, DC circuit, not Maryland. And he didn’t plead guilty...got my Trump-adjacent crooks mixed up]

Perhaps to be taken with a grain of salt, but damn, Lanny Davis said some pretty dire-sounding **** wrt Trump’s knowledge of Russian shenanigans.

And I'll continue to scold you.

Also, I guess the DC trial is where all the ... Russian stuff ... comes into play?

I believe Deripaska and Kilimnik are Russian and closely connected both to Russian state and Manafartov, who was campaign chairman to TTT (Treasonous Traitor Trump). Connect dots. Welcome back btw.

These words by Lanny are so unbelievably strong and damning. This is actually happening and we're alive to see this.

Dude, you scolded me for saying Manafort was looking at die-in-jail time. Even after the sentencing guidelines go to work, and even if it’s relatively lenient, he’s still looking at a decade or more. Which is before DC and a second bite of this apple.

It takes quite a bit of chutzpah to play it this way. You suggested that my statement was hyperbolic. It objectively is not. Take the L.

Trump is being attacked on all sides. The Omarosa book, Mueller, no doubt from the GOP, his wife is trolling him daily. How long can he hold up?

Dude, you are the queen of hyperbole - and your comments with respect to Manafort way back when (which I can’t search for, because I broke the search function) were no doubt designed to prop up your consistent reach with respect to the relative magnitude of the case against Manafort (amongst other items).

“Sentencing guidelines” — lol. Ok. I take it that you have been following this trial (outside of what is, apparently, digestible on MSNBC [Lanny Davis? You’ve lost the plot]) and are familiar with T.S. Ellis.

The reality here is that either he cooperates or that he is pardoned. But even in the absence of those avenues, I don’t see Manafort spending more than a few years behind bars.

Consistent reach with respect to the magnitude of the case? He just got found guilty of 8 felony counts, and he’s looking at 8-12 years, per estimates of people in the know. That’s before the DC trial, which is in a venue and before a judge which may be less favorable to him.

The exchange I’m talking about was me saying he was under pressure to cooperate because he was looking at die-in-jail time. You lol’d and said that was hyperbolic. I asked you what you thought the result of the trial would be, and you said you thought he’d either get off with fancy lawyering, or get a slap on the wrist. Now, I’m not dunning you for being wrong about that. I’m pointing out that you consistently argued w me about the strength of the case in and the gravity of the charges. I think that argument has already been decided, but you’re apparently still on your bull****.

The question wasn’t whether or not he was going to die in jail, but whether or not he stood a substantial chance of risking it if he went to trial. He may not spend another hour in jail, but that’ll be because, as you say, he agrees to cooperate or is pardoned. I mean, the answer seems self-evident at this point, and yet...
