You guys are riot. Teheran was an Ace last week that would anchor the next Braves playoff team. Now he has a bad game and is just a junk baller with no control.

Yeah, Teheran belongs to Harper, but Julio does a pretty solid job vs most everyone else

I'm insanely mad with Teheran, but he's still our guy. I just get so mad that he pitches scared against guys like Harper. He's such a talented pitcher -- get him out.

At least that's rational...but here come the trade him threads...

The time will come soon enough that we will not "have" to keep Julio. Julio is a really good pitcher, but when he comes up against elite offenses...he struggles more times than not.. Any of the average teams in the league...he will do well. We watched what a real ace looks like last night.

At any time going forward...I would trade him for the right package. Unfortunately , I'm not sure we have been offered the right package and Coppy feels he's worth more staying put. That time should end soon.

Julio is a scrapper, but wouldn't make me feel very confident as the first starter in a playoff series.

Don't get me wrong...I like him. Just not sure he will ever be what some think he is.

Agree. Julio's the #1 starter for us but who'd be in the fourth or fifth spot in the rotation for a contending team.

I've wanted to trade Julio since 2014 tbh.
Dalyn and I have been consistent with that. He's shown flashes of brilliance but never consistently to warrant being a true ace. Just not efficient with pitch counts and does not know how to make pitch.

Maybe 4th or 5th on a stacked team. Julio is a 3+ WAR pitcher. He's a 2/3 depending on the composition of the rotation.

No, I think Julio is the 2-3 pitcher for a contending team. lol he's really good, just not an ace

Wherever he falls, it isn't as the ace of any truly credible team.

I don't think I've ever seen a player as locked in as Freeman is...

Swanson and Garcia are the flip side of that statement

I would agree with that. Still doesn't mean he isn't damn good.
