weird, they are looking at what might could work to win

funny to see people that support what is going on trying to act like they care about principles all of a sudden

What does that quote have to do with regulation? You seem to be arguing that relieving student loan payments would stimulate the economy as that money would be utilized in other ways. My point is that logic no different than if we were to relieve people of any of their other financial obligations by taking their burden and playing it on someone else.
Has anyone made a non-emotional, rational argument as to why this should be forgiven by the tax payers, but nothing else should?

you can't even quote the right quotes when given time stamps

so, sure thing man. whatever you say

please continue to act like democrats should have to play by different rules though than what the republican party does. if anything trump has shown it is that they have no actual principles

I seriously feel bad for you. You have 2 responses following my question and I gave you the time stamps.

You've lost your mind. Trump has beaten you into a very small man

I’ve yet to read one convincing article why we should forgive student loan debt, especially to the degree proposed by Warren

you ask questions get answers then deny the answer if it isn't the answer already in your head.
Kinda dealing off the bottom of the deck there.
You dont ask questions in good faith.

There are millions of reasons to take a very very strong look at this problem.
I would think $1.5T put into the economy would get your attention.

I spelled out why this is different than living expenses -- read up on the issue then get back.

Simple, dont vote for her and use that as your reason why.

But not your choice unless she becomes the nominee.
Then you can vote for the Trump U guy.

Wonder how those vets paid off their student loans

I am confused why $1.5T is helpful to the economy here, but the similarly sized tax cut that was passed was a disaster to the economy...

acting like a tax cut for rich people in anyway helps the economy like getting 1.5 trillion into the hands of the middle class or less is hilarious

The tax cut was a cut for 80% of Americans.

But by this logic, why not forgive mortgage and credit card debt?

I mean, Bernie has already told us that housing is a right so it's high time we forgive that too right?

recap for you since you are too stupid or just don't want to do the work:

04-16-2019, 07:13 PM is your initial post about abortion

    i responded at 04-16-2019, 09:23 PM

you and your fellow fascist had a couple replies and that is where i follow up again with the one i showed that i again answered you at 04-17-2019, 01:09 AM

the on brand that you quoted was me making fun of you and your white supremacist follower with your insistent use of abortion to distract whenever anything isn't going well. go to the wedge issue or aka on brand

the 2nd thing you quoted wasn't even talking to you so you're just making me think you're an idiot that can't follow a thread. i mean, i even quoted acesfull86 in that post that you used

hopefully you get yourself a vacation man cause trying to own the libs while cozying up to fascists is a bad look for ya

Last time I looked $1.50 a week doesn't buy a bag of pretzels

    Historical context ?
    " let them eat cake"

because like I said earlier, mortgage and credit cards are regulated because we have already had this conversation over mortgage and credit cards or rent or the water bill or whatever the simple minded example du jour.

I will ask the board agin, how did the participants in the class action suit against Trump U pay their student loans ?
Read some of those stories how those people were sold the college experience.

You dont get that this is a process that those with the means are afforded an education that leads to upwards mobility and those that dont have the means are stigmatized because they aren't upwardly mobile ?

I know, and good for you, you paid your loan. As have my children

This line of reasoning is just bizarre. The current level of regulation has nothing to do with how stimulative the money would be for the economy.

    let' go one step further.
one time we spoke of the janitor that cleans the lavatory at your work and how screw him, he should have done better.
    Remember, I know you do

Suppose that janitor (of color) has a daughter with aspirations to get an education and be --- lets say a high school gym teacher.
Do you have any idea what that family must go through to get a college loan ?

Since the father works as a janitor my guess is they live in a home with paltry collateral --- so who do they turn to to help his daughter ?
There is an old Chuck Berry song called "No Money Down" where a guy with a broke down car runs into a car salesman and next thing you know he bought a car with " jet offtake"

you follow where this is going

Personally I would try to hold these lending agencies accountable -- knowing that aint gonna happen
Going back to who has profited off of this

15 years down the road the janitors daughter has become a high school gym teacher fullfilling her dream but is multi thousands of dollars in debt with two kids and a job where she makes $40K because the people that stigmatize her family think gym teachers should not be.

Fast forward another 10 years the janitors Grandson wants to go to college but his family cant get a loan because their credit is **** due to the college loan his mother is behind on.
So he could have shoes or a sweatshirt --- whatever
The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.

regulation on lending would help insure that this money is invested (bag of prtezels if you will) to the public rather than a lending institution and its stock holders.

So no, it is not bizarre at all.

Forgiveness of the loans (according to Sen Warren) is the first step
