Yeah, this needs to be addressed for sure. Snit may be blowing our 1 year with Donaldson by wearing out his starters. Who knows, but some of these injuries could've potentially been avoided with proper rest as we've all been discussing since the preseason

Ah, Maddon is giving up baseball to go cure cancer. Smartest guy ever. Just ask him.

Angels have fired their manager after only 1 season....rumor from Ken Rosenthal recently was that they have close ties to Joe Maddon and if he became available, he was their guy

Going to need more than Maddon to win one for Trout.

If Rendon is turning down this much it doesn’t bode well for the market.JD is gonna get a lot of cash to be the consolation prize.

A lot of the money in that contract is supposedly deferred.

When was the last time we had a manager fans thought was good? And dont say Bobby Cox. I know that's how history will be written but a lot of fans couldn't wait for him to go.

There were a few guys on the old Scout board who loathed Bobby. I don't think any manager has universal acceptance from the fan base.

Bobby was definitely my favorite. It's rare that you can be as good as he was and still be underrated by so many people.

I bet a lot of managers would love to have 3 hall of fame pitchers on one team plus another in the field plus another “should be” in center. I think Fredi could win with that. But hey, you play the hand you are dealt. You either reap the rewards or pay the consequences

I appreciate Bobby a lot more now that he's gone.

I didn't want him gone either. But his absence has definitely left me appreciating how good he was at everything.
    Forever Fredi

We've been criticizing snit for not resting players.

Well Bobby never had an issue resting guys. We know all about the Sunday lineups. If someone was as so much thought to be hurt he'd sit you the next day automatically and on the 2nd day maybe put you in to pinch hit before letting you back in.

Also, his bullpens weren't as good as the ones Fredi had and he still made it work. Yes it helped having rhe Big 3 able to pitch 7-8 innings and not have ti use your weak bullpen.
    Forever Fredi

I'm sure there are contrary Patriots fans out there who think Belichek is overrated.

Hand you are dealt? You realize that Bobby is responsible for acquiring all of those guys sans Andruw, right?

There seem to be a lot based on social media. They think Tom Brady is actually the reason they have so many championships. It’s sad.

Good gm doesn’t always make a good manager.

But that’s not true in this case.
