I still say he was worth the risk if he hit. Liked Mallex a lot , but that type of lefty is so rare.

I wasn’t a fan of the trade, but I can see the logic behind taking a shot on an arm like that. My issue was more that the Braves already had plenty of arms they were taking shots on that they didn’t need another.
