You know the thing that's most disappointing, is this is the biggest series and the Braves came out lethargic, didn't seem interested. No one seems to care, no one gets pissed, so guess what if they don't care, I don't care if they don't win another game all year. Maybe we'll get ride some of these sorry asses in the off-season and have a team that cares.
Just what I want to see on here. Pissing contest of who's been worse: CJ and Simmons. I'd rather we be 11.5 back in the Wild Card. It'd suck, but it'd be far less frustrating.

Instead of Fox Sports showing all these dazzling defensive plays from Simba, maybe they should show more of the 500-foot home runs he hits with that big swing of his.
Oh, wait....

About the best way I can describe this team right now:
Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
Yet another quality start gone to waste. Like think we can safely say Minor is back ...
I'll take Hawk Harrelson's homering over Chip's uncertainty and absurdity every night.

Some quotes from Bowman's story:
"Tonight was a baseball game, a well-played baseball game on both sides and well pitched," Braves right fielder Jason Heyward said. "No errors or mistakes there for either team. Their pitcher was able to hold us to one less run, and them getting the extra run with a groundout. It didn't take a lot. That's the definition of a good game."
Yes, a good game. More pitiful offensive efforts.
"This is my fifth year, and every year I've been fortunate enough to play for something coming down the stretch," Heyward said. "This year is no different. Tomorrow is another game."
True, but the majority of this team is not playing like they're playing for anything. Going through the motions. Refusing to make adjustments. Refusing to do what it takes. And the manager is certainly not managing like there is anything to play for. Starting a piece of fail when you have a better option, both offensively and defensively. Using a bad hitter to pinch hit for a better one when you've got several better options on the bench.
