It’s kind of bizarre that we didn’t put Acuna on the DL before this game and call up another position player. There was zero chance Acuna was avoiding the DL, and now we have Culberson as our only bench bat the rest of the way. Pretty inexcusable.

I think it was more for flexibility....now in between games they can call up a relief pitcher if our BP is taxed, or call up a position player for the second game if we need to.

Clock has struck midnight on Carle. Sucks, as I was thinking maybe you use him in situational times in close games.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
