I know lineup position shouldn't matter, but I like the idea of slotting Camargo into the lineup directly in place of whomever he is replacing for that game.

So far, Freddie, Acuna and Ozzie only ones without a day off.

I'm happy to see Snit making people take time off, even early in the season. I'd like to see Ozzie particularly getting a day soon.

Good move sitting Markakis vs Ray. There was a game last week where we faced a lefty Markakis has never hit and we sat Enciarte instead despite him having good numbers vs that lefty (rare case for Enciarte vs lefties). Markakis went hitless that night coming up at key spots (not surprising since he always bats 5th) and we lost that game. Had Camargo batted 5th that night and Markakis sat maybe we win.

Ex-Brave (for 10 days) Christian Walker has started most of the D-Backs' games at 1B thus far in 2019. Walker was the property of 4 teams (Orioles, Braves, Reds, and Diamondbacks) in a span of five weeks during spring training in 2017.

That's what Bobby used to do. He'd slot Lockhart or DeRo wherever Giles was hitting.

I don't remember if he'd slot Wes Helms or Eddie in place of Chipper or Javy though.

I just remember the Sunday B-Squad lineups everyone would be hitting in the same position as the starters.

I think you have it backwards. Chipper batted where Wes Helms would have batted.

Folty didn't look ready last night so not surprised they are holding off adding him.

i would take my chances with Soroka starting over Tomlin any day.

Sounds like it will be Soroka in the spot-start.

That was one of the worst offensive innings I’ve ever seen.

    Of course, Freddie just missed
