One thing is for sure, if we get them you have to pitch Teheran vs them given his success against them. I like how we match up against them, outside of Black vs Snit. But as long as our starters do well and we hit enough we could beat them without bullpen usage coming into play. I hope.

This also could set up a tiebreaker situation between them and Dodgers on Monday. Time will tell.

Again this is starting to smell a lot like 95. Beat the Rockies in the first round. Indians in the WS. Our next HOFer is in his rookie season...

Plus, black actors need to be cast more, and if we remain intent on only casting lookalikes for non-fiction success stories, black actors will continue to be out of work.
Plus, it was pudgy Jonah Hill and not the current slimmer version. DePodesta played both football and baseball at Harvard and even if that's the Ivy League, it shows a pretty solid level of athletic talent. They told Chris Pratt he had to to get in shape to play Scott Hatteberg and they should have told Hill the same thing.

hopefully rockies win it but after doing so are spent like braves were that year catching and passing giants on last day. We had nothing left in the tank in that philly series.

To be fair, they didn’t use DePodesta’s name, but that may be because he didn’t want to be associated with Jonah Hill. Understandable.

I’ll believe we will find a way to lose against anyone in the first round of the playoffs until I am proven otherwise. Call me jaded, but the Braves have failed to instill any confidence over the last 20 years. I think it’s going to be different every year, but it isn’t. They have to make me a believer again.

All that said, I’m going to at least one playoff game and will be living and dying with every second. Can’t wait.

You bastards won't give me any credit for the major reverse jinx I pulled getting the Braves into the playoffs easily.

Cardinals blowing their chance at a wild card slot. Swept by Milwaukee earlier this week and now down 4-0 to the Cubs.

I would love for them to sneak in and then avenge our 'infield fly' game. Maybe have a few phantom calls go our way lol.

Looking like the loser of the Dodgers/Rockies battle will get that 2nd WC spot.

MLB Network and pretty much everyone thought Rockies were done after that Dodgers sweep and not having Story for that time and other games. Black did a great job keeping that team together and catching the Cardinals and Dodgers. I really didn't think they could pass the Dodgers but they did, very impressive finish but still two games left.
