    How is that his fault?

Julio has been really good his past 4-5 starts, he was due a bad one.

Oh nah....we play well on the road and the tougher the team the better we play. We won’t win the division though because we can only win 3 out every 10 games or so out home.

For some reason Marlins that suck against everyone else kill us. Dietrich would swing at a pickoff throw to second but coaxes a walk on a borderline pitch. Then Brinson who might as well be swinging a pool noodle this year hits one to Savannah.

Even if it doesn't seem like it will be, that Philly-Boston stretch will probably be 3-3. Win the series vs Philly and lose in Boston.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

it’s on Julio either way. That inning only happened because he threw back pitch after bad pitch. He had several hangers, some down the middle and awful velocity. He’s just not great.

We have to take at least 2 of 3 from Philly. They’re playing really well right now

Thank you Freeman, because with the way the ump was calling strikes, this was fixin' to be a no hitter.

Acuna’s average is down to .247. He’s way too good for that.

Two pitches out of the zone called strikes against Acuna.

Two massively different zones. Either this ump doesn't like us or he sees lefthanders and right handers different. Either way this ump should have to file for unemployment tomorrow.

That strike 3 to acuna was way worse than ball 4 to Dietrich

it’s hard to improve your pitch recognition when the improve continues to call incorrect balls and strikes

    Shhhhh....

This isn't a 6 run game if the ump was calling it the same.
