I think after tonight's game Snit needs to tell this team to shower off the filth of this second rate city, forget about this series, and don't let a long string of tough breaks get into our heads.
Biddle continues to dominate righties. I think the concept of a reverse split lefty has Snitker a little baffled.
"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
The Boston series needs to be competitive or I'd start to get worried, based off of what I've seen there (I'm pretty sure outside of Sale their worst two starters are going) that the Braves were more stacking wins than actually improved over last year. It doesn't need to be a series that is won, but it needs to be the Braves not getting absolutely blown away like the Astros series last year.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
I like watching the team get shut out.
"For all his tattooings he was on the whole a clean, comely looking cannibal."
I think Snit needs to shake up the lineup a little bit.

Snit needs help from the braintrust here in identifying the hot hands so he can group them together.
Need a bloop and a blast now.
Clearly the Fox Track strike zone is mis-aligned.
Another shut out.
Well struck, at least?

This umpiring crew were warm bags of turds. Every single close/blown call benefited the Phillies. Just ridiculous.
Honestly, is it just extreme incompetence or are the umps trying to get a certain result?
