As much as any 50-something single loser parties. I got stories, I got memories. Just ain't got you, baby.
Oh, well. This is my personal thread, and I begin with a Heartbreakers version of a song that was inexplicably on his solo Wildflowers album.

Remove one Jeff Lynne, add a liberal dose of Heartbreakers, and yet another solo song turns into a band classic. I love the veteran bands that don't turn into oldies acts.
Styx?
Can only callout those who do bad things.
Hard to find error with what you do here on this forum.
You're approval rating is higher than mine.

Once hair bands walked the earth. Before there was Nirvana, there were men in spandex who fooled young people into listening to the blues.
Cliff De Young, like Barry Gibbs and Freddie Mercury, awesome and unique voices.
I first discovered YouTube in 2007 when this clip blew me away. A country singer does Heart justice; who'da thought. Wish Gretchen would do a rock album, but she knows which side of the bread to butter, I guess. But listen to her hit the power notes! WOW all over again.
Oh, and singerless Alice in Chains did the spot-on backup (plus Nancy).
Gretchen even did an album of rock covers in 2013 without a single Heart song. There's a big fumble for ya.

I used to do a mean Barry Gibbs karaoke.
Then puberty.

You don't think the line between rock and country is blurred forever? The Band Perry was one of the country music success stories a few years ago, and everything I hear from them lately rocks. Check this shirt out....and don't by the Whitney Houston fakeout!
This is a Lucky Town song getting the E Street (Nils) treatment. Classic case of an unappreciated classic.
What an uplifting song, what a way to close the show. Wish this was more common.
Was bored by the movie American Hustle (except for the cleavage), but loved this ELO song, but could not find the damn thing. It turns out that, pre-soundtrack, it's only released was on the JAPAN version of the new, stiffed CD ZOOM. What up with that, Jeff? At least it's out there now, but I'm gonna find that Jap CD on eBay if it kills me.
I'm liking TP&THB new single.
Lol. What if I just find the hq mp3 file for you online friend?
And Play Me is my go to Neil Diamond karaoke song. Or I am, I said.

And back in the day I could do the Streisand/Diamond You Don't Bring Me Flowers duet solo.

Jeff Lynne was a huge boost to Petty and was a fellow Willbury. Funny out ELO went totally out of vogue overnight but is popular again (see above). Balance of Power was the final real ELO album, but it had this helluva song. Here is a helluva video thanks to European Space Agency.
Time for my (and your) Bruce Fix. First time this was played in Australia this year, without Patti to foul up the harmony. Another Other Street Band song that gets E Street stamp.
