If DeAndre Hopkins lives up to the hype, I can forgive Houston for waiting over half a decade to get Andre Johnson some help at WR.

By Gilesfan's US Soccer standards, there's a mutiny on the rise in DC!

LOL. THis guy absolutely ****s on Zito/Thethe.
Only way you come off with that opinion is if you're a moron. What did he **** on? That RG3>Rex Grossman?
Read option is a gimmick, enjoy it while it lasts but it will go the way of the wild cat, the triple option, and in reality pretty much any new offense that has been introduced in the last 20 years aside from the spread. For the 800th time there's a reason the same general offenses work throughout the NFL, because your'e playing a game against men, it's not college where one dominant athlete and a gimmick can dominate (see Vince Young in Texas running the read option)

To be fair, the athletes now at the QB position are both runners and passers. That makes things a lot different. You have to respect them throwing the football. Not saying it will stick but I think this has the best chance of sticking as opposed to all the other non-traditional offenses.

Shannahan runs the same offense he's always run outside of 10% of the plays in which they ran the read option. (which was simply an added dimension to a play Shannahn has always run)
Its funny you guys focus on 10% of the offense instead of 90%.
Stick to fantasy football.
LMAO I'd like to see your sources.
Cause when I watched the skins play it looked more like about 33% of the offense and about 40% of passing plays.
The thing I enjoy most about the internet is all of the Redskins fans running out to justify their offense as not being a gimmick. Once your QB gets smashed in the mouth enough maybe you'll learn but heck I doubt it you'll probably just lobby for more rules to protect them.

Lol at Zito.
Would much rather have two great players rather than one superstar and a so so second WR.
Factchecking you here since I knew you'd fall into that trap
"According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Skins had 128 option rushes out of the pistol during the 2012 regular season. The Skins totaled 519 rushes and 442 pass attempts, so you can see that the Skins’ offense was about much more than just the option in 2012."
Meaning that 13.3% of all their plays were read option runs and that's it. Meaning for your "90%" they would have had to have done 0 read option passes and no read option plays out of any other formation.

They ran hardly any (maybe 0) read options out of any formation other than Pistol. I woudln't expect you to know that since you clearly didn't watch (33% of running plays read option and 40% of passing plays)
Being that less than 40% of the skins passes were play action passes, I'd venture to guess that the Skins didnt run read option on 40% of there pass plays.
Good to know that everytime the redskins called for a read option and RG3 never passed the ball as part of it. lol.
Gilesfan is turning into Carpe fast.
