3-4 for Acuna. I seriously have doubted moving him so fast, but the dude just doesn't really slump.

I think it is safe to say Acuna is probably going to be a 20/20 guy at the big league level. But with Suntrust being a hitters park I wonder if he will develop into a 30/30 guy

There's a little known rule in AAA where the umpire can automatically promote a player bc he's too good for AAA. Acuna is no longer allowed in AAA

He slammed his helmet after being called out on what appeared to be another infield single.

So they have to resort to collusion to get him out? Guy is good.

Yesterday I added Albies to my fantasy team and then he gets promoted less than 24 hours later. I'm afraid to add Acuna to my team now. I don't want him called up tomorrow.

I wouldn't say he's one of our top prospects. But he has an FIP slightly above 4 with a GB% over 50 from the left side. Plenty of time and chance for him to return to his form. And if he does he's up there.

I was concerned but apparently the blisters have been an issue this year. He has as high of a ceiling as almost anyone on the farm.

Blisters? I seriously doubt there are legs to that story. If there are, then it is complete a botch job by the management to allow him to continue to pitch. I think he had a bad first half. They are now taking him and Anderson slow to get them right. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Allard going 3 -4 innings his next few/several starts. I will never accept that Fried sucked because of blisters. I think Fried sucked because he was off mechanically.

Could be, but he was mega-dominant in the playoffs last year. 24Ks in 15 innings or some ****.

And arguably the talk of Spring Training Camp.

Reports at the end of the year had him sitting at 95-97 with his fastball with movement.

I am not crapping on him. I just think he had a bad year. Not into excusing it with Blisters. That shouldn't be a problem over 15 starts.

For Rich Hill it's been a problem over 10 years.

I am one of the biggest pozzie around. But I am not buying that he had blisters for 15 crappy starts. If he did then again we need to question the management for letting him pitch. It is really ok to say a guy had a bad year. Prospects do that sometimes.

I agree that you gotta be able to say a guy had a bad year and that Fried has had one. Could have been at least somewhat blister related. Rich Hill has exactly one way to get guys out- with a curveball that moves 20 inches that he torques the **** out of. That also causes him to miss because that kind of torque creates blisters.

However, it also helped him sign a three year, $36m contract in his mid-to-late 30s. So he keeps doing it. Fried might need to make adjustments. Or might not yet have figured it out.
