That’s why I’m thinking we have the best offer on the table right now. I hope what they were talking about a few days ago really does happen in MLB. They are wanting a deadline for winter deals so that the baseball executives can have an offseason and relax too. Like when the winter meetings end till the first of February. That would make a lot of these deals go through quicker.

I also think the Marlins wanna get this figured out sooner or later. They dont want this to drag out much longer. For the most part, they kinda know who is offering what, and the lagistics to it all.

Mish is pretty legit, he did break the Ozuna/Yelich trades if memory serves. Braves are probably offering Riley plus, i just wish i knew what else so i'd be comfortable with it.

Well he's never played less than 125 games so there's that...

MLB Tonight showed how Realmuto is better than his numbers, as he has lost some homers and hits playing in Miami. If playing in Atlanta he'd had more homers and other extra base hits last year.

mlbtr is now reporting that latest rumor, ''Not only are the Braves one of the teams still in the hunt to acquire Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto, but they’re “slight” favorites as of now, Craig Mish of SiriusXM tweets. Braves third base prospect Austin Riley’s “on the table” in talks, Mish adds. The 21-year-old Riley – MLB.com’s 43rd-ranked prospect – got his first taste of Triple-A action in 2018 and batted a terrific .282/.346/.464 in 324 plate appearances, though he also struck out in nearly 30 percent of trips. Riley is blocked at third in Atlanta, at least temporarily, by the recently signed Josh Donaldson and 2018 starter Johan Camargo.''

It's true... Realmuto's away wOBA is signficnstmt higher than his home. The more and more I look at him, the more it seems he could be a monster

I doubt it’s one of Wright, Touki, Soroka, or Anderson in the deal. AA is Leary of putting 2 top guys together in the same deal. I could see Wentz and another guy in there though.

Bowman is bad at his job: Source: The Braves have not had any discussions regarding J.T. Realmuto within the past five days and they do not plan to have any further talks with the Marlins regarding the All-Star catcher.

While the Braves have done their due diligence by monitoring Realmuto's market, this hasn't been a priority since McCann signed. Anthopoulos' choice to voluntarily attend meetings in Denver Wednesday was a sign the teams weren't engaged in serious talks during the Winter Meetings''

We need to get Bowman and Mish in a hot dog eating contest to settle this. If Bowman wins, the Braves get Realmuto for Julio Teheran. If Mish wins the Braves have to send them Acuna for Wei Yen Chen.

I don’t believe any of it. It’s them using the media to push each other. If AA wasn’t gonna have discussions at the WM then why did he even bother going? COF is a huge glaring hole still.

me thinks we have the best offer on the table for Realmuto but the Marlins want more and so far the mets and others are not topping our offer and AA isn't raising it either.

If that’s what Bowman says, JT will be a Brave by this time Tuesday.

I believe Mish a lot more than Bowman, he broke the Ozuna/Yelich trades, and he's in tune with the Marlins. Bowman is a mouthpiece to the Braves.

Braves may not get JT, but Mish is a legit dude on this.
