    Medlen pitched Friday. Probably him.

I knew he had pitched recently.. I was hoping it was 3 days ago though. Blair is literally the last guy I want to see on Wednesday..

Two outs the corner outfielders didn't get for Wisler this inning.

    Those guys aren't cutting it...

Markakis would make for a nice late game pinch hitting role for a good team.

It most likely makes no difference; but if we're gonna use wisler, start him. He has proven without a doubt that he can't be a relief pitcher.

Nick could end up being an $11 million bench bat next year...

I think that will be the case. I don't see him in Atlanta in 2018

And how exactly do you all propose the Braves get rid of him? Or Kemp for that matter?

Do we fully understand just how much negative value those guys carry?

Are the Braves really going to eat that much money in order to rush Acuna to Atlanta?

Have we learned nothing from the Swanson debacle?

Looks like those saying the 4th year for Nick was a mistake are proving to be right....again

It starts with command. 7th lowest BB/9 in baseball. He's also had the 11th most effective change and 19th most effective slider among qualified starters. You can pitch well with sub par velocity if you do other things very well.

I wasn't happy with the 2nd or 3rd year of neck either. I would love to just give him to an American League team.

    Uhhhh.... am I missing something?

EVERYONE said the 4th year was likely going to hurt. But he wasn't going to sign for 3, soo....

its like you haven't seen how FA contracts play out that often? or either you want to toot toot your horn or Ensheffs.
