I really thought Folty had found something a month ago. Guy has been hot garbage lately. Braves pitching is terrible. Chuck Hernandez has to go.

Not giving up on Newk yet because he rarely gets hit hard. They T-off on Julio Folty and Dickey if they are off. Strangely Sims doesn't get hit too hard. I don't like his stuff , but he has more bulldog in him than Newk and Folty combined.

His stuff is clearly good enough. When he isn't pouting he's usually pretty good with the potential to be dominant. When he has a temper tantrum he sucks.

I thought the same thing in one of the Faillies series. The inability for our starter or relievers for that matter to throw strikes is astounding. I don't care to look it up, but I would bet the staff BB% is one of the worse in the league.

I get Albers wasn't worth a ton, but giving up a guy killing AAA for cash is a little goofy. Surely we could have gotten more than $20 from a desperate team that needs a good starter.

Completely agree. Just frustrating watching Folty struggle this way considering how well he pitched for a stretch this season.
