    6. Derek Dietrich (L) 2B
    7. Cole Gillespie (R) LF
    8. Adeiny Hechavarria (R) SS
    9. Adam Conley (L) P

    ATLANTA

    1. Ender Inciarte (L) CF

Without Stanton in their lineup, the Marlins look a lot like the Braves.

I am so tired of watching Francoeur start for this team. Playing him over Mallex is insane. If Mallex isn't going to play every day he needs to be in AAA.

We have to win tonight. Have to. If anything, it's for some sort of high that isn't illegal.

when coaches start crappy veterans over young players in an attempt to win games in a lost season I start to question the ability of the front office and their modern baseball knowledge. it's simply stupid. If Mallex is going to accrue service time he needs to be effing in the effing lineup every effing day

Having Aybar play with a sinker ball pitcher on the mound is already rearing its ugly head.

It also cost Perez a hit that should've been an easy out and two more batters including one legit hit and extra pitches.

I thought Inciarte got his foot in the way they swiped tagged at him and they way he slide. I guess they didn't think clear enough to challenge though.

Inciarte was trying to deke the runners there, he knew that was off the wall.

Freeman isn't going to break out of his slump being overly aggressive chasing so much. A little more patience could go a long way.

Who didn't see that K coming with Freeman chasing everything?

Markakis hitting under .230 won't help trading him, if we missed our chance on doing so and he mostly sucks the rest of the way I'll be pissed.

That's just our team to be honest. We are going to have streaks where we put great at bats together and get the runners in. But we are going to have tons of times like now where we get men on and can't hit water if we fell out of a boat

Perez sinker average velo seems down tonight, esp. for his last game hitting 95-96 mph. He seems to be topping out at 92 mph and averaging more 89-91 mph.

We also have both Freeman and Markakis doing nothing for most part. Markakis cannot buy a hit and Freeman hasn't seen a pitch he won't swing at.
