    Love you all.

This loss isn't as rough as the other eliminators. Really hope this learning experience makes the young guys want to actually go out and improve themselves.

Albies learning patience. Acuna learning how to track down fly balls.

Touki, Fried, Sobotka, Minter, Soroka, Newk, Folty can all learn from this series. If all the guys above learn from the mistakes this team will be even scarier.

We're going to have the youngest team in the bigs again with a full year of experience and playoff experience under their belts. Heres hoping 2019 will be better than the 2011 team.
    Forever Fredi

In a year to go from being severely punished for cheating to Ninety wins and a division title is a great year. Congratulations Braves. The future looks exciting.

Fun season. Looking forward to 2019. Would prefer a new pitching coach. Let's go Brewers.

lack of depth hurt us...some of it was bad luck in the form of Swanson's injury and Duvall's fade...some of it might have been lack of payroll flexibity... a deeper bench should be high on AA's to do list...and the way rosters are constructed these days a deeper bench leads to more position sharing...Freeman and Acuna are probably the only guys who should play over 150 games next year and even they should get some days off

The national media for baseball is loving this. They get potentially 3 Boston-New York games with no other baseball games being played in the meanwhile before Friday night's Los Angeles-Milwaukee tilt.

I hate to say it, but that's I believe 7 straight NLDS losses plus a wild card loss. Dating back to 2002.

I mean, we saw the Dodgers create the blueprint in this series alone for position sharing. Heck they even have Bellinger playing CF.

one thing this series showed is starting pitchers can really be an asset coming out of the pen...the playoffs are a different animal

Good call. And I remember that horrendous game 4 of 05 ending in Houston, and of course game 4 of 13 ending in LA.

yup...and we already have a couple players who can play just about any position...we didnt exploit that as much partly because of a lack of depth...one last thing about the Dodgers...they left Verdugo off their roster...that's deep depth

They weren't supposed to compete this year and instead they won the division. This was the first time in years that Braves baseball was fun instead of a compulsive hobby. Even right after elimination it feels good. We're fortunate.

The most positive news of the evening?

I think we saw the last of Ryan Flaherty in a Braves uniform.

That Duda HR would've been huge, of course, but nothing like -

Unless they do something foolish and re-sign Markakis. Then you have to bring RF back.

I was there. Fastest and most extreme roller coaster of emotion I’ve ever felt between that and the 9th inning.
