Didder could provide another interesting case when 40-Man additions come up - he hit much better following his promotion to Mississippi, and IIRC he'll be eligible for the Rule V.

I haven't seen him play since he was in Rome, but it would be cool to hear from those who have whether they've seen enough to think he could possibly become a potential utility guy as Charlie gets more expensive. Was that the result of adjustments and improvement or just a 46 game hot streak?

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I think Deester probably has the best handle on Didder. All I have ever heard or read is that he is an amazing athlete who has issues developing the requisite baseball skills to succeed. He was moved back to SS after playing two years in the outfield and he was supposedly something to watch in center field. If he can hit at all, he's got a chance.

Yeah 50. Thanks. While I think the sun is setting on him, I think he has some translateable skills. He's stopped depending so much on being hit and can hit when he just concentrates on contact and hitting. He was good in the of, but as a SS, I always thought he was underrated a bit. Good range, quick twitch athlete. He has a chance, it'll depend on what track they pursue. Carmargo-lite in a good way.

I think Didder's ceiling would be a bench/defense replacement/pinch runner kind of guy.

I find it strange Anderson isn't pitching in the AFL. All I can think is that they're wanting to limit his innings.

One theory I've heard is you don't send pitchers that you're looking to possibly trade to the AFL for fear of injury. Just a theory though.

I do belive that Anderson and Wentz would be 2 logical pitchers to trade this offseason. A rebuilding team does not need a major league ready pitcher, which is why they usually get high upside arms in A or AA in return. Also, AA seems to like the AAA/major league shuttle for pitchers and that could mean he wants to keep all of the depth we've accumulated that is close to major league ready.

IIRC, Anderson and Riley were two of the kids they mentioned having very specific things they wanted them to work on this winter which is probably the main reason they went to instructs (where they could be monitored and handled daily) rather than sending them to the AFL where they'd have been more "somebody else's prospects".

I'd be hesitant to trade Anderson unless I was confident he'd never solve his BB issues. If he gets those BB issues resolved and maintains his K rate, he could be really good.

Wentz I'd hesitate to trade for fear of not getting value. He was injured so much this year that I don't think you'd get the return to make it worth losing out on the upside.

This makes sense. Especially since these are guy who will very likely see Atlanta next year and both have specific things that they need fixed in their games.

    Braves (Peoria)
Braves No. 12 prospect Kyle Muller notched his first win of the Fall League season for Peoria, tossing two scoreless innings of relief. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out three. Cristian Pache (No. 6) went 3-for-6 with two doubles and two runs scored out of the cleanup spot. Braxton Davidson went 1-for-2 with three walks and three runs scored.

I don’t think I’d include Muller in deals this offseason. I think his arrow is straight up, and could really be a valuable piece
