I understand why Fredi pitched him today. I don't agree with it but I understand why he did it. The problem is once it gets out of hand and it's early who do you pitch to finish off the mess? I mean we're down 2-0 and they're hitting the ball all over the yard. If he gives up 5+ runs in 2ip who do you bring in? Or do you just let him hang himself for 5-6 ip?

This dude is terrible...Why wasn't David Hale on the roster getting the start? Loe's numbers in AAA were terrible and the ERA was hollow,IMO. Why not see what Hale looks like as he may have a future here unlike Loe.

I rather dig up Derek Lowe than watching this Loe pitch.

Janish can play some defense, if he could only hit.

I really don't mind Loe getting his head kicked in today. It doesn't really mean much at this point. I just want him to take the entire beating himself. No throwing the bullpen for seven innings. If Kam has to throw 200 pitches, well, maybe he should be better at his job.

If we want to save the bullpen, we gotta leave him out there a while. But that might be hard to do if he gets hit around too much early on.

I sense that Laird will be the pivotal player in this game.

Gonna be real funny, though, if the Nats lose today and our magic number still goes down by one even with throwing the sacrificial lamb...I mean, Loe...out there today. I'm not going to be able to see a bit of this game and I don't care! Accept it as an automatic loss and be real happy if the Nats lose, ecstatic if Braves figure out a (remotely possible) way to win.

Might just be funny to see how bad Loe can be, IF Fredi doesn't waste any real pitchers to mop up for him!

Gattis went back to swinging real hard again. I wish he realized that he has enough power to swing 80% and still hit the ball to the gap.

That swing at the breaking ball is why Evan needed another 200+ ABs in AAA.

Agreed. Most importantly he needs everyday AB's.

Gattis had three extra base hits in AAA on off-speed pitches. Gee made both he and Laird look bad, I guess we should send them both to AAA.
