He'll still be in the top 100, but yeah, his stock has fallen. My guess is that the entire top 10 makes the top 100, and I would guess it'll fall something like:

    Dansby - top 5
    Albies - top 15
    Allard - top 30-40
    Soroka/Anderson/Acuna - top 50
    Maitan/Newcomb - top 75
Then Weigel and Fried near the bottom

    If that happens then wow.

What a job done by the front office in such a short period of time.

I know you know this, but there are more that could be added to that list.

I don't think we get 10 in to start '17 season. Maybe by mid-season updates we get 9... Swanson will be gone by then.

Yeah, but those are the guys I would say have a legit chance to climb up to the top, particularly Maitan, Acuna, and the youngest of the pitchers. The other really young guys like Pache, Cruz, Severino, etc. it's just too early to know much on.

Didn't BA just talk the other day about having 12-13 guys in the mix for the top 100? Or was that BP?

Either way, Newcomb will almost certainly be in the top 100, so we'll at least have 8. Weigel and Fried, we'll see.

Watching Allard, Fried and Touki...I gotta say they are wrong. Touki's curve is inconsistent so that must be the rub. Other than that...he fools the hitters and umpires alike. I watched on umpire duck, the batter froze and the catcher was even fooled. If Fried's is better...I didn't see that although it was dynamite. Allard's when he is on, is great. I love our potential...

Newcomb's problem is his age... he really should be dominating at this stage and he's not

Yeah, let's just say they're all really good. I agree Touki's has the best movement, though.

His strikeout and hits against numbers indicate he is dominating.

I'm hoping Schwartz has a big year and we can add him at C in the system.

Well said. I can also say that Ray Patrick doesn't strike me as a slouch. He gets hit a lot!, but he's still got that SS twitch in him. Athletic. Acuna, what can I say. I said it before he got back from injury that he's got MLB written all over him. The thing is, he doesn't look like he's pressing to be something he's not. He's just good.

I would love to draft him if he bounces back, but I have a feeling if he does, he'll be gone by 5.

The guy that sticks out to me is Jordon Adell.

    Long way til then, though.

I hate talking Prospects.. It makes the off season fell so much longer.

Schwarz isn't a big league catcher. I watch a lot of him as a Florida fan. It's not happening. Would be a wasted pick at 5. Perfect game's recent draft rankings had Schwarz in the 50 overall range.

I'm totally on board with Adell though.

With the talk of the Braves possibly breaking the KC record for most top 100 prospects it wouldn't surprise me if it's something close to this.

JJ Cooper already said there are 13 prospects in consideration for the top 100. Don't think it's a stretch for us to get 10.

I will be happy to be wrong. I just don't know why the rankings would vary from end of season to beginning of season. I just don't see why winter ball should jump some up and hurt those who don't play... Maybe it gives list makers more time to review the season's tapes to get a better understanding of who is what...

Interesting. I could see us go after a college arm as well, since this draft looks to be so deep there. But Adell is still my guy.

They haven't had a list since midseason, right?
