I appreciate JT fighting when he didn't have good stuff. Pretty clearly not in command of much, but gutted it out. I always value effort in situations like that.

Ender, Dansby, and Ozzie all look like they could use a day. Too bad they won't get one. I wouldn't mind seeing Flaherty, DPete and Tucker in the lineup ASAP. Can't get worn down.

In the back of my mind, I know we're not one piece away. We're a SP and two RP at minimum. But man is relevance fun.

I didn't watch much of the game as I get up early for work, so it sucks we took the L, but Julio seemed to battle for a high-quality game. Sometimes, it's the little things.

Yeah -- I want us to be there, and I think we're close, but we've got a little ways to go. I think a TOR pitcher, RP and big bat are still needed.

Being propped up by the walk rate. If he can maintain a 20% walk rate over the season that'd work.

You wouldn't think the walk rate is sustainable. However any decrease in that you would hope would be propped up by his BABIP improving.

His def value has gone from negative to +1.5 in the time he was named the starter. It was a good move to get him at 3b starter

Yes, where those two knobs end up being adjusted will likely tell the story.

im happy he's the defensive player at 3rd over Bautista. No question there.

Wait, so you think Bautista is better offensively?

His status as an ex-brave (no matter how short) ensures he will own us for years to come. He still sucks
