Awesome to see Wentz back. He's 70 innings shy of what he threw last season, so I wonder if they'd be open to putting him in the Arizona Fall League to get the innings up.

Should call him up tomorrow just so he is eligible for the postseason.

Not bad. Just getting through those pitches healthy is the big thing.

For a bench bat in a postseason run...yeah I’d consider it.

Looks like it will fall to me to note The Return of the Moylan: Rehab Edition.

A player does not need to be "called up" to be eligible for the postseason roster.

Please, learn the rules governing roster management before making suggestions about roster management.

What is the rule? Just have to be in the organization by a certain date?

    http://m.mlb.com/glossary/transactio...on-eligibility

Anyone on the 40 man (regardless of 25 man roster status), 60 day DL, or leave list by August 31 is eligible.

Anyone in the organization in any way by August 31 can replace a player on the 60 day DL who has been on the 60 day DL for 60 days.

It is no coincidence that McCarthy went on the 60 day DL on July 30th, placing his 60 day mark around September 30th...just enough time to swap him out with someone not on the 40 man roster. Soroka's spot is another opportunity for the Braves to get another guy onto the postseason roster if they want.

This is the perfect example of a post where you could simply be helpful and provide real value but instead chose to just be a douche.

Cry about it. My god...give it a rest already. I get it, you're a sensitive fellow and your feelings are easily hurt.

If you can't handle that post, please put me on ignore. Please. Nothing you have to say to me is ever useful to anyone other than calming your hurt widdle feewings.
