Ynoa already way too low. Any other team in the division and he would be pitching in the majors right now. He is going to be a high leverage reliever at some point for us in 2020.

They get way too excited about guys because of their stats. Trey Harris that high is insane.

I’m gonna get those two Harris guys and the old vet pitcher from Major League mixed up all the time.

While I agree with that, Trey Harris can hit. Plays a decent enough OF...like I said he reminds me so much of TP in the batters box. I like him....15? Eh...

Seems demeritte would be higher than Harris. TD is killing AAA, and he was a 1st round pick

I always exempt same-year draftees from mid-season prospect rankings. I don't doubt that many of them should be there, but it's really difficult to put them in the appropriate slot. Ynoa should be ahead of Tarnok and Demeritte should be ahead of both Dean and Harris. Demeritte has been around a longer time, but people tend to forget that he's only one year older than Harris.

Great view point. I learned a long time ago to take the introduction year in pro ball with a bit of caution.

Top 5. Shouldn't we start calling him Necklony? That's whose place he will be taking.

If there is room for Jeremy Fernandez on this list, surely Tyler has a place.

Not that Jeremy Fernandez is a bad person or anything.

Like you, I have nothing against Jeremy Fernandez, but he's been wading in the low minors water for a few years. Neslony is older, but he's performed well at every level (even though it took a year at Mississippi). If he can play any kind of OF defense, I wouldn't be surprised if he got a look somewhere.

I can't wrap my head around Beck being ranked higher Ynoa.

Agree with Rico that Ball will probably jump way up this list in the next year.

I have to admit, I had no recollection of Jeremy Fernandez.

I think Ynoa might be rated appropriately and Beck might be high.

Ynoa hasn't been all that great in his fifth professional season, notwithstanding his stuff and one solid appearance in MLB. He's a guy who is still looking to figure things out. If it clicks, it might be real good though. I've got him as a relief prospect primarily and one that I wouldn't be thrilled to move. If he's part of a package for Thor, or major part of package for someone like Yates or Hand or Vazquez, then I'm good with it.
