Medicare for all is a big money grab from producers to the non-producers.

That is socialism in a nutshell.

I’d just like you to briefly summarize the health insurance premium costs of the last couple of decades.

Well, first of all, it isn’t, but I’d say that the big problem I see with this statement is that it’s monumentally dismissive of the huge swathe of working Americans for whom the cost of health insurance is a significant burden. What, they’re “non-producers”? GTFO. Which is weird, because you’re otherwise into the whole populism thing.

People work their asses off within a system designed to devalue the cost of their labor. A program like M4A mitigates the excesses of the unquestioned success of this effort.

It does look just a bit like a big-assed Freudian slip doesn't it?

Medicare for all severely punishes me as someone who has put in significant hours to get to where I am when I started with almost nothing.

Now I get a tremendous tax increase with what will probably end up being worse healthcare.

How many people are there like me that get shafted?

The rich don't get screwed because they still have a tremendous amount of money.

My populism relates to what I feel preserves capitalization by eliminating monopolies. Further, I am protecting blue collar workers by not flooding the market with illegals who depress wages.

So the extent of my populism doesn't contradict my feelings on socialism and medicare for all. I am for enhancing capitalism and giving workers an opportunity to enjoy in the amazing benefit of capitalism. Socialism just wants to deincentivize hard work and screw the middle class.

It is appropriate to be fearful of the socialists and they do not hide the fact that we should be

Just for us old guys who might be confused on this matter what exactly does one produce when one is a "producer"? What all types of things are included in this good category and what doesn't count? What types of work can one do all one's adult life and still not get included in the "producers" guild, as it were?

So if these people should be forced to resign what then should Donald Trump be forced to do? Just curious.

I don't believe they should be forced to resign.

Never have called for it. I'm just confused by the inconsistency.

Anyone that goes to work each day or creates a business for themselves and puts considerable effort into improving each day is a producer.

In other words, a completely vague and incomprehensible answer.

i'm sure it will come down to what he views as real jobs vs not real jobs

as if there are such things as not real jobs but he will view them as below him etc

First question is, how do you know this?

My main observation is that if you want to eliminate monopolistic (and, presumably, monopsonistic) behavior in the name of enhancing capitalism, you (like sturg) profoundly misunderstand capitalism.
