We can all complain, but at least we aren't the Mets -- who actually had some sort of expectations and are notificably worse.
The Braves are two decent pitchers away from a wild card birth. At least, I see it they way
So how good is Inciarte going to be? What does a peak Inciarte season look like?
Natural Immunity Croc
I think his best seasons will look a lot like what we seeing now. The combination of his defense and hitting should make him a top 20 outfielder based on War for the next 3 to 4 years.
If he is top 20 to 30 in war over the next few seasons Coppy. will look like a genius extending him.
I think Inciarte could be one of those guys who puts up one really monster season in his career and is above-average the rest of the time. He's a ball-in-play guy with some pop, so I could see a year when everything comes together and he hits .300-.315 with 15-20 HRs. I doubt he could do that consistently, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did it once.

Inciarte as a 4 war player makes sense to me. The problem is we have miscast him as a lead off guy. Should be in bottom third on a good team
Adams looks amazing now. Wish he was a third baseman
Wish we had lost some more games last year. I love Anderson but would much rather have senzel and have 3b sorted
I hate Adonis
I hope so. I can't wait to see him play at 3rd. I stay busy with travel through June so I haven't been able to make it to Trustmark Park very often. I look forward to July so I can start watching him and Acuna.
I believe Demeritte is on pace to have one the best HR totals ever for the team. If he can hit 20 in MS he can probably hit 30 in ATL.
Inciarte has basically been a 4 WAR player for 3 years now. And depending on whether you prefer bWAR or fWAR, he's on pace for 4-6 WAR this year right now.
As for Senzel, I agree with the sentiment that I would have loved to be able to draft him...but let's hold off on saying that would have solved 3B for us. He's only in A+ and having a solid but unspectacular year there so far. The K rate is higher than you would like, the BB rate is lower than you would like, and he's not showing a lot of pop. Demeritte is actually putting up very comparable results in AA and is less than a year older than Senzel. The scouting still says Senzel will be the better player, and he probably will be, but he's not a cinch to be a good MLB 3B.
