Good start for Touki tonight, except that he walked too many, again. Still, I would call it a promising start.

Soroka has righted the ship after a few so so games. Getting the Ks as well.

Yep. However, he is still better than he was last year. Probably needs another year in AAA.

Hell of a pitchers duel in Mississippi tonight. Good guys push across the first run of the night. Soroka lights out tonight

To go with his 9 Ks through 8 innings, Soroka has 13 ground outs. Only outs to the outfield are two line outs to center.

I severely dislike the Braves way of handling their young pitchers! Soroka was was cruising at 85 pitches and they took him out smh!

True, top shelf prospects should be pushing for complete games at the age of 19.

It doesn't matter bout the complete game, he was crusing and didn't have any stressful innings. Let him go back out.

Great to see the success of Soroka and Allard do far in AA. This rebuild of the rotation really needs those 2 and Newk to be at least MOR starters.

He got 9 outs via K, which took at least 27 pitches. That means his other 12 outs averaged just over 4 pitches per out, and actually less depending on how many pitches the hits took.
