    Thanks a bunch, KB!

I hope the next time the Braves face the Marlins, he gets hit hard for that sh*t if he comes in.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Also...what a joke of a home run there. I hate Citizens Bank Park.

Two walks, two swinging bunts (one of which resulted in an RBI) and a cheap home run. As Enscheff says, the short home runs count as much as the 450 footers.

Philly is definitely living right these days.

They had a brutal schedule in i think June, schedules all even out.

And if the Phillies are garbage like everyone in here says, Braves should beat them pretty easily near the end of the year provided both teams are in contention.

One good thing about the Phillies winning is they didn't let the nats gain ground. I'm much more worried about thd nats than the Phillies

Phillies should be pretty solid once they add Ramos. He was a big pick-up IMO.

Huh? The Nats gaining on the Phillies means nothing to us as we'd pass them for first and not lose any ground to the Nats either way. That said, the upcoming Nats series is going to key for us and the Nats IMO.

Huh. We only worry about the sand fleas when they pass us.

Once we sweep them next week. We won’t have to worry bout them anymore

Nats have kinda turned it on, and only gained .5 games in the process. I hope that lead to frustration. The Phillies lead over us is nothing. Sure, I'd like to pass the Phillies, but I expect to do that anyway. Keep the nats back right now

This Nats series coming up, as long as the Braves do what should happen in New York and take at least 3 of 4, really is going to be pivotal, unlike the one right after the ASB. Have the Nats started playing to their talent level, or were they taking advantage of a Mets team that has for the most part quit, and poor pitching for the Reds?

Maybe I'm misguided... could be, but the Phillies' lead on us is bc they've played 3 more games than us. The nats are the real threat, and you'll never convince me differently. They scare me

I agree. But Phillies staying ahead of them makes no difference to us

I am from miss, so perhaps this is the problem lol. My reasoning is I don't want the nats gaining ground right now. Right now they are 5 games out of first and 4.5 out of 2nd. Right now they 4.5 out of WC, but 4 teams ahead of them. The more teams they have to catch, the harder it is on them. We can pass philly just be winning the rainout games. We also play them 7 more times. Plenty of time and opportunity to catch philly. The nats need to start making up ground. If they can't make up ground on either team in the east, I think frustration could set in or that clubhouse just blows up. My whole premise though is that we're better than philly and will pass them... just a matter of time
