Is it just me or has this home plate ump been amazingly consistent? Don't remember hearing his name previously.

With the rain delay Snitker figures that's enough extra rest for Swarzak and Jackson to be used again.

Love Duvall right now but this is Riley part two. Bring up aaa of. Teams throw center cut fastballs for a month. Player hits hrs on center cut fastballs. Eventually teams decide to stop being idiots.

Duvall has actually had some MLB success though.

Duvall has a history of having plus power and killing lefties at the major league level. I'm 100% confident his diabetes ****ed him up last year.

Well he’s not going to do this. He may be a goof platoon bat who has pop off the bench. He might even be a decent every day player. There is a lot of room between 1998 McGuire and a AAAA scrub.

This is Duvall when he is hot, he is very streaky. Riley had 6 K's through his first 5 up and an OPS under .800. A lot of these pitchers have faced Duvall before and know him. He is hitting homers on pitches that are not bad mistakes too. In his two homer game he had one on a change-up on the outside corner probably just outside. Yesterday Sanchez tried the inside corner thinking that would keep him from getting it out and he hit that out too. Outside of that bases loaded K he has had great ab's and that is why he came in hitting .500 so far. He won't keep this up and he will still have strike out but it looks like he's back. 34 homers this year including AAA.

If you have a chance, listen to braves rain delay show. The calls that come in are unpredictable.

One guy asked why the Braves haven't made Culberson a full time starter, another just chewed out the Braves for not spending money on a retractable roof.

    So much entertainment
