So much for not wanting to trade in division.
So much for not wanting to trade in division.
Bowden. #Marlins asking price for Realmuto from #Mets has been Conforto and Rosario ++....too steep for #Mets.....they'll do Nimmo + but so far not enuf for #Marlins ....as talks continue...
Mets would be beyond dumb to make this deal. Their offense is terrible as is and their best trade assets (and deepest position) are pitchers. Grandal and Ramos are ripe for the taking as well. Makes zero sense to package Nimmo+ for Realmuto.
I mean it's good for us when Mets do dumb things though.
I refuse to believe AA is a player for Realmuto at that kind of price. I do hope he's pushing hard to trade pitching for Haniger. There couldn't be a much better fit for this team.
Go get him!

LMAO if this is real for the Mets
If they do this can we get Nimmo from them please
Not sure what else they'd have to give with Nimmo.
Nimmo, Alonso, and a pitcher.
If AA has dangled Soroka/Riley, he needs to be all over Haniger.
So are the winter meetings no longer are a thing?
If Harper signs with the Dodgers the Braves should be on Joc Pederson. If we can't sign Brantley or McCutchen he would be good to have, LH power can play center and is priced right.
It’s been a pretty quite offseason really so far. Us and the Mariners have made the biggest moves so far. The WM are coming up so I expect a lot to go down over the next 2 weeks
Mish has the Braves favored to get JTR at 20 percent right now in his latest tweet.
Is it just me or is every rumor only currently centered around the NL East??!! Phillies, Mets, Braves rumored on everyone and Nats just made a big move.

Haniger will cost a lot if Ms do in fact rate him as 1 of 5 best cOF in game.
From MLBTR
As the Mariners continue to explore further ways to get younger and shed payroll, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the team won’t be attaching Kyle Seager’s contract to Mitch Haniger in an effort to escape the remaining three years and $56MM on Seager’s seven-year deal (subscription required). First and foremost, the Seattle organization considers Haniger to be among the five best corner outfielders in baseball
Anybody think the Braves are still in on Realmuto and Markasis would be brought in on a 1 year deal if we did get him?
