    Cubs' Top 10

Up today on BA. Obviously weaker than in awhile, but the interesting thing is their projected 2021 lineup...

    🔸C Willson Contreras (29)
    🔸1B Anthony Rizzo (31)
    🔸2B Javier Baez (28)
    🔸3B Kris Bryant (29)
    🔸SS Addison Russell (27)
    🔸LF Kyle Schwarber 28)
    🔸CF Albert Almora (27)
    🔸RF Ian Happ (26)
    🔸SP Jose Quintana (32)
    🔸SP Jon Lester (37)
    🔸SP Kyle Hendricks (31)
    🔸SP Adbert Alzolay (26)
    🔸SP Mike Montgomery (31)
    🔸CL Carl Edwards (29)

Would love to find out who they imagine is going to be willing to take on Heyward's money - you know he's not about to opt-out after next year, and everyone will be spent-out following next winter.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I think they will send Schwarber to an AL team.

Cubs will almost certainly trade 1-2 guys from the Schwarber/Russell/Baez/Almora/Happ group to bolster their pitching staff.

I would trade Schwarber (who should have been traded after his WS performance) and/or Baez for the best controllable SP possible, and then sign a 2nd tier guy like Cobb or Lynn.

I don't think anyone is able to pry Archer away from the Rays this offseason though.

If they think Happ is a better option at RF than Heyward it would be dumb to not start him. Even if the Cubs can't move Heyward, they can always bench him or cut him.
