You still can’t send our worst hitter up to the plate in that situation in the 7th with other options still on the bench.

Also eff all the fans in the lower bowl down the RF line for not reaching over onto the field and grabbing Mac’s batted ball. This team and even our FANS ARE FINNISH!

Fought hard tonight against great pitching. Not bad and can live with the loss. Wish we would have pulled Jt after 5.

Teheran now has an ERA of 5.35 and a FIP of 5.00 (both about 20% below league average) for the season.

I would say we need to put him in the pen but I'm not sure who we have that would be a good bet to pitch better.

Wouldn't mind adding Keuchel after the draft when he's forced to choose between making nothing or a reasonable amount of millions. I think they could afford him and Kimbrel on half season deals. not sure exactly what other weaknesses there are to address though I guess significant injury could encourage a move.

But I would try Teheran in the pen and give Newcomb another shot in the meantime with Touki being the next alternate.

At least he is not walking people before those homers.

3 solos. If it was our bullpen, walk, walk, homer, walk, walk, homer.

He did not pitch bad. We just not hit good like we normally do.
