That's an interesting list. For a guy who clearly is tuned in on Rome, I'm a bit shocked to not see Fried on the list, though.

It's an interesting list. McKinney has had a terrible season, but somehow he still has some buzz in scouting circles. And isn't Kyle Lewis going to miss the start of next season? Whitley is all tools and I'm surprised to see him in the Top 100 on the list seeing he spent the summer in short-season ball.

Agree that Fried's second half should have put him on this list. I think the Braves handled him carefully early so that he could be more aggressive in the latter part of the season. Dustin Peterson is kind of my guy on the scouting radar and I'm surprised he wasn't about 50 places higher given his season. He's not Mr. Tools, but I think he'll be a solid contributor.

I disagree with a good bit of that. But it's definitely nice to see that many Braves up there.

Fried's first half was not all that encouraging. Even sites like this need a little time to catch up, and both he and Riley made huge impressions the final month.

I think control and command are the toughest part of coming back from elbow surgery, so it's understandable that Fried scuffled early. Even as the season wore on, he'd be cruising along in a game and things would fall apart a bit. That ended in August and he was really on top of his game the last month.

Since this is not a paid site, here are the Braves (with my own comment):

    6. Ozzie Albies (pre-injury; it will surely drop him some)
    21. Ronald Acuna (surprised how high he is considering he missed much of the season)
    33. Sean Newcomb
    46. Mike Siroka (word is spreading, isn't it?)
    51. Travis Demeritte (evidently, strikeouts aren't held against him)
    64. Kolby Allard (with a bullet)
    69. Ian Anderson
    71. Austin Riley (should also climb after his late season)
    78. Touki Toussaint
    119. Joey Wentz
    175. Rio Ruiz
    207. Lucas Sims (should not be this low)
    212. Patrick Weigel (makes it official that he's legit)
    227. Dustin Peterson (amazing he's this low)
    243. Max Povse

    (No Muller? No Fried?)

    Again, here is site LINK

I'm a little leery of Demeritte because his contact rate is pretty bad, but there's no denying the power potential. He may be a little overranked here. Curious to see how he does in AA next season.
