Soroka will not be in a trade...he is ours for better or worse. No one would trade for him, unless it was at a discounted rate.

Didn't the white Sox trump machado's deal to SD? Any chance they go just stupid to get Harper?
The funny is that i don’t think Harper really likes the Phils that much, or it would already be a done deal. He’ll end up going there because they will offer him the most. He just keeps holding out hope that someone else enters the mix.
That’s what I think. It would have already happened if he wanted to go there. SF or SD makes so much more sense for him being from Las Vegas. Spring Training close to home too. Fans won’t be as rough on him as the Phillies fans will be. Just let him go 0 for 15 and it won’t be nice in Philly. Plus, he will have to deal with hearing it from Nats fans a lot.
And he will have to live in Philly
I could see the argument but for him being that young and having 3 instances of shoulder soreness (4 if you include his shoulder hurting lifting weights a month ago) now is the time to be worried.
Time to shut him down and do every kind of test there is on his shoulder. After all that time off for this to reoccur, there is something going on

I’d give Soroka a few weeks rest and rehab and if it flares up again then they need to see about doing surgery to repair whatever is actually going on.

Reports about Kimbrel having not dropped his asking price from the middle of the offseason. May sit out 2019 if he doesn’t get the deal
