If Pete Alonso is clean, I'll eat Kevin Mench's hat.

The sad thing is I thought Panic was going to get rung up on that check swing.

Ump missed strike 3 to Panik on 2-2 pitch. It was clearly a strike, not called.

It is what it is. You can’t throw that bad of a pitch to Alonso, he’s way too good. It’s all on Fried.

Yeah if it happened would have been better leading off the next inning.

Especially after the WP put runners on 2nd/3rd. Take your chances with Conforto with leftie on leftie

True. But the ump has had a big zone all night then misses an obvious strike 3.

Can't whine about a missed strike call. Not throwing a tater to the best HR hitter in Mets history is the far bigger deal.

2 strike call on Acuna should be a fireable offense. Ball was 6 inches outside. No place for that crap in the game today.

Agree and the umps have no one to blame but themselves.

EDIT: Can any of our pitchers get Ramos out?
