Mets snag Matthew Allan. Hopefully he heads to UF instead.

We are one pick away. Plenty of utility players still on the board.

I was out mowing the lawn. Did Santa arrive with the 3rd round pick yet?
Lot of utility in the name “Michael Harris”—two-way player with two first names.

Harris is 127 on the Fangraphs board. Report: Harris would be an elite college player with top-5 round abilty both ways but most scouts prefer him on the mound. He's been used unusually in the spring and some scouts think within 12 months in a pro setting he could be 90-93 with everything average to above.
Perfect game says hitter and pitcher. Any idea on what we drafting him as?

We will go cheap here on out. I am thinking a reach or two in the 10th and beyond. Not sure there will be anything left to reach for but I think that is their strategy.

Perfect Game: Braves grab an in-state talent in Michael Harris. Legitimate two-way talent as OF and LHP, announced as a CF, whippy bat speed with projectable power and athleticism. Was definitely intriguing on the mound as well.
PrepBaseball:I like this pick for the #Braves. LHP/OF Michael Harris is a good athlete. Legit ability on both sides. Try him as a hitter first, pitching can be a fallback. #mlbdraft
Baseball America: Michael Harris is ultra-athletic. Has a pro future on both sides of the ball. 88-92 with some natural feel to spin. He likes hitting better it sounds like. Plus runner and has a chance to stick in center. More upside on the mound, I would guess.
