Hats off to Kirk Cousins on a great season. He's earned that contract that is coming his way.

Porter was originally checking on Brown I believe, which is legal. But then he reportedly started jawing with Burflict after Brown was being helped off the field. And that's when the refs intervened and then Pacman got involved. We also don't know what was said. Either way, considering the circumstances, I think either a no call on both teams, or offsetting penalties on Pacman and Porter should have been called.

    Read the rules.

During any timeout, including an intermission, all playing rules continue in effect. Representatives of either team are prohibited from entering the field, unless they are incoming substitutes, or team attendants or trainers entering to provide for the welfare of a player, and any game-type activities are prohibited on the Field of Play.

No where in the rules does it say a coach can come on the field. He should have been flagged.

For one, the rule that I've seen states that its during a team timeout. Does not specify on an injury timeout.

Secondly, even if it were to apply to injury timeouts, it is rule that is certainly never strictly enforced. Coaches (even head coaches) come on to the field all the time during injury timeouts to check on their players. This is especially true during serious injuries. So don't act like Porter being on the field to check on his player is an uncommon occurrence.

Not only that, but coaches regularly come on to the field periodically during every game for various reasons (argue with officials, yell at players, etc.) and don't get penalties called on them. In almost every scenario, the refs simply herd them back to the sidelines.

With that being said, I've already stated it was bogus to call a penalty on Pacman and not on Porter, since Porter was obviously no longer helping Brown and simply trying to talk **** to the Bengals. But Pacman did react to it and managed to bump some refs in the process. It either should have been a no call at all, or a penalty on both teams.

Image going around on a different play that several of the Bengals' coaches were on the field. Refs tried their best but just couldn't control the game.

Also hits to Ben by Burfict and the weeks previous Maxx Williams were bad and unsportsmanlike. He knees Bens shoulder pretty hard while on the ground

Coaches are frequently on the field. It's just a rule that doesn't get enforced strictly.

I don't think I've ever seen a team get as consistently lucky as the Seahawks. Their string of luck has been going on for 5 years now.

Don't get me wrong, they are a solid team but they are by far and away the luckiest team in the league.

The lack of coaching hires so far is a telling sign that the available candidates are all pretty bad. I would be happy with Chip or McDaniels if he became available.

I would be less inclined on McDaniels, but I'd give Hue Jackson another shot. Especially if I had some offensive pieces in place (NY Giants).

Chip Kelly to Tennessee looks too good to be true, although he would probably ship all the talent off this offseason.

Hue is going to interview with the Giants tomorrow.

What talent is there to trade off?

Mariota, Lewan, Woodyard, DGB, Hunter, Walker, Casey, Orakpo, Morgan, Warmack, Kendall Wright, Cobb (remains to be seen, but their best RB probably by far).

Actually most coaches aren't hired super early as coordinators on playoff teams are typically the most common picking grounds. And a lot of college coaches are just wrapping up their seasons so they'd not be ready to be plucked just yet. Remember the Falcons hired Quinn after the Superbowl. I know the Browns are looking at the Pats D coordinator. Lots of teams are looking at Sean McDermott.

    I was joking... mostly....

But among those players, Hunter, Warmack, and Woodyard aren't very good. I actually wouldn't mind trading Kendall Wright. While i feel he's a good slot receiver and is being under utilized, he also has a me-first attitude.
