So this new rule next year about pitcher having to face 3 guys. Let’s say a reliever pitched last night and three 22 pitches. You bring him in tonight and the first guy he faces has a 17 pitch at bat and then the second guy has a 12. Wouldn’t MLB want to protect players more. This rule seems short sighted to me. Random and has nothing to do with the game.
