    Wow.
You can walk on a torn ACL, but hopefully it's just hyperextension and he's day to day.

I don’t want to jinx it, but I would be shocked if it’s a torn acl. He never grabbed at the knee or anything like that.

Yup, it still can be ACL even though he's walking. Aaron Murray tried to play with one vs Kentucky before it really started hurting him.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

I’ve seen plenty of guys walk it off with a torn acl/mcl.

I know a lot of athletes too!

That was the only good thing about it. Seems he kept reaching for his lower back. We'll find out soon enough.

Yes, let's hope and pray there is no ligament damage.

I'll be shocked if he avoids the DL even if nothing is really damaged.

Between this and the Freddie scare, we have had our fill of heart attacks for 2018.

I think he will be fine. Could be wrong, but I just feel the braves' training staff would've been on either side like crutches to keep weight off knee with such a huge asset.

Hyperextension would very likely still be 2-4 weeks.

I don't think keeping Acuna down would have changed a darn thing, this state is cursed when it comes to sports.

It seemed to me he was walking better as he got closer to the dugout. Hopefully and praying nothing serious.

Remember Bryce Harper had just about the exact same thing happen to him last year. He missed a few weeks, but was back for the postseason.

Acuna walking is obviously better than being carted off, but it by no means indicates he isn’t injured.

Yeah but Acuna is the Venezuelan Trout, not Venezuelan Harper.
