According to Wikipedia, that’s the 100th immaculate inning of all-time.

So, a pretty rare feat and it’s getting almost no fanfare. Da fuq.

Prediction: Harper comes up with runners on in the 8th and Snitker doesn’t bring in the lefty for Greene.

    The word immaculate oversells it.

I mean, it is the most perfect inning a pitcher can have, even if it a little gimmicky...

Harper should've k'd but Greene missed his spot too badly to get the call. @#$%

EDIT: Strike two to Hoskins was ball four to Harper.

Yep. This entire crew could be fired and replaced with sloths and the game would be better for it.

It’s also very rare. It’s way more rare and impressive than, say, hitting for the cycle yet Chip Caray would be creaming himself in the booth over that arbitrary accomplishment.

I got a bad feeling about this 9th inning, but maybe it’s just the Mexican food I ate earlier.

The cycle is the absolute gimmickiest of all the gimmickys. It isn't even remotely close to the best day a batter can have. Dude could have a single, double, and two homers, be better than a cycle, and a week no later no one remembers it happened.
