I wouldn't assume too much yet based on rumors as AA plays things close to his vest. We may have asked about both Headley and Ozuna but just didn't get anything done due to other considerations. Time will tell.

As far as the Adam Duvall rumor goes, how is he at 3rd base? I know he played there some in 2016 and has mostly played LF since then, and had an 8 DRS in left last year and 14 DRS the year before and has graded strong there in both range and with his arm. I like his power but his OBP is terrible as noted. Maybe the Braves are interested in him only if he comes cheap in a trade and want to platoon him at 1B (back-up for Freeman), LF and maybe some 3B too. Just trying to make sense of it. He isn't bad on defense and did hit .279 vs lefties so I suppose he might be decent in a platoon when you factor in his defense in LF. That said, there may be nothing to this rumor.

Headley would cost us more now than he did when the Padres got him.

According to reports, prospects going to Miami from St. Louis include Nos. 6, 9 and 13 in the MLB.com Top 30, with one unranked.
FYI, the MLB.com Braves equivalents are Gohara (6th), Riley (9th) and Toussaint (13th). All Top 30 lists are not created equal.
More realistic haul for Yelich and Prado would be Toussaint (13th), Pache (10th) and CUmberland (24th) along with Folty and Camargo.

Possibly because the method of payment is different. San Diego took all of his salary to facilitate a trade with the Yankees — perhaps they now envision eating some of his contract in order to obtain a decent prospect or two. Of course, if this is true, it certainly paints a horrifying picture of Atlanta’s 2018 payroll flexibility.
Here's my conspiracy theory:
AA has long coveted Machado like everyone else. Problem with this is that Machado wants to move back to SS and he has only 1 year left and will be very expensive to keep even if we did trade for him. Also, acquiring top end pitcher would seem like a bigger need.
So what does AA do? Starts trimming the fat on the payroll. He knows we'll need the extra payroll space to acquire Machado and buy out his remaining Arby year with a 10 year extension.
But we still need that top end starter? Luckily, the Machado trade creates an incredibly valuable trade asset in Swanson. So AA uses Swanson as a headliner in a large package that nets us Michael Fulmer.
Boom. 2018 NL East champs.
Just start Camargo at third if the other option is Headley or a similar player.
I believe Headley is about to be traded to the Angels. MLB trade rumors says it's close.
Per Rosenthal, Kinsler to the Angels is official

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
The Angels are going nuts. Maitan, Ohtani, Kinsler, and a few others all in the past week
