    Replying to @kyledcheney @NatashaBertrand

Who do we think writes the appeal? Trump's White House counsel or his other personal attorney, AG Barr?

In recent weeks Rachel Maddow showed WH filings

to the court and misspelled Deutsche Bank as Duetsche Bank

this guy is sloppy even as his ass is on the line.
    Guessing some find that attractive

Forgetting this is who they chose to carry the nuclear codes
or forgot that Gary Johnson was a wasted vote. As was Julia Stein and Ron Paul or Ralph Nader or John Anderson or Ross Perot or Harold Stassen etc etc etc
There is historical precedence that voting for a third party though noble in theory is stupid and a waste in real life.

What kind of deluded naive mind would cast a protest vote with nuclear destruction at stake ?
and an obvious nimcompoop as one of the two viable choices

Vote for someone that files legal appeals where the subject is misspelled
    who knew !

    would this be 5) ?

Pelosi has called a special meeting to brief her caucus Wednesday on the various efforts to oversee the Donald Trump administration, but it’s clear to many Democrats now that more ignored subpoenas and protracted court battles won’t resolve their issues anytime soon. Even though Pelosi has thus far resisted prodding from the most liberal Democrats to begin impeachment proceedings, she may soon have little choice but to move forward with an inquiry.

At some point maybe. But the Dems need to show some patience and persistence to allow some of these issues to work their way through the legal system. I believe they will be rewarded for it.

GOP Rep. Justin Amash told reporters outside the Capitol on Tuesday morning that the process of impeachment "should be begun" against President Trump. Amash received harsh criticism from the president and other Republicans after tweeting the same over the weekend.

QUESTION: Would you like them to start impeachment?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: I think it's a process and it's something that should be begun.

QUESTION: Will you sign on to the impeachment resolution though?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: I haven't read any of the impeachment resolutions.

QUESTION: What do you have to feel about leader McCarthy saying you vote more times with Nancy Pelosi than you do with Republicans?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: I think everyone knows he's lying. But that's typical Kevin.

QUESTION: Are you disappointed though that leadership's coming down on you like this? I mean, they called you a lightweight, they're going after your character instead of what you say in your tweets.

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: It doesn't surprise me.

QUESTION: And sir, what about President Trump calling you a loser?

    REP. JUSTIN AMASH: Okay.

QUESTION: Are you considering running for president as a libertarian candidate?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: I'm focused on defending the Constitution.

QUESTION: And when you say you're going to review impeachment proceedings as a process, what exactly do you mean by that?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: Well its a process. It is not like the resolution is drawn up overnight. It's a process and you have to come to the right conclusions about how to draft something.

QUESTION: But you would like to see them start at some point?

REP. JUSTIN AMASH: I think it's appropriate to do so. Speaker Pelosi is in charge of that, not me.

First on CNN: Justice Department willing to hand over counterintelligence if Schiff backs off 'enforcement action'

The Justice Department is trying to stave off an "enforcement action" against Attorney General William Barr this week, making a rare offer to have the House Intelligence Committee review materials from special counsel Robert Mueller's report if House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff agrees to back down.

Last week Schiff said that he would hold a business meeting Wednesday to take an unspecified action against the Justice Department for not providing the committee documents related to Volume I of Mueller's report on links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

The Justice Department had previously offered to show all committee members a less redacted version of the Mueller report, but now says it's continuing to review the initial tranche of 12 categories of documents Schiff wants, and will make them available "in relatively short order," according to a letter obtained by CNN.

"The Department has already begun the process of identifying, locating and reviewing the materials potentially responsive to the categories of documents," Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote Tuesday, "a process that will not continue should the Committee take the unnecessary and unproductive step of moving to hold the Attorney General in contempt."

Boyd's letter also confirms that last week's offer of having all members of the House Intelligence Committee review the less redacted version of the Mueller report remains on the table -- and it now extends to the Senate Intelligence Committee.

I would say Pelosi needs 5 Republicans minimum (from Senate and House) to greenlight impeachment. People like Fitzpatrick and Hurd appear to be waiting for Mueller to testify before tipping their hand.

How we might get to 5:

    1. Amash
    2. Murkowski
    3. Lamar Alexander
    4. Hurd
    5. Fitzpatrick

Anyhow, so far there is only one.

President Trump abruptly canceled a meeting with Democratic leaders on Wednesday, saying he was unable to work with them on legislation following comments by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that he was “engaged in a coverup.”

Trump made an unscheduled appearance in the Rose Garden shortly afterward and in a meandering 10-minute address said he had left the meeting with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) at which they were supposed to talk about working together on a $2 billion infrastructure plan.

“Instead of walking in happily to a meeting, I walk in to look at people who said I was doing a coverup,” Trump said, adding that he can’t work on infrastructure “under these circumstances.”

In a chamber filled with disappointments, I’d argue that Ben Sasse is the biggest one. IMO no one has a bigger gulf between talk and action than that guy.

A federal judge on Wednesday said Deutsche Bank and Capital One may hand over the president’s financial records to Democrats in the House.

This time the judge is from Puerto Rico.

Seems unfair that Donnie's appeals are being heard by these sort of judges.
