Kiley was tweeting about Michael Fulmer rehab then said this:

Not to be outdone, Braves RHP Huascar Ynoa has hit 98 six times thru 2 innings and hit 100 once, on my gun and the one next to me. Acquired last summer from the Twins for Jaime Garcia.

Quite sure it's unlikely, but wouldn't be shocked to see Weigel considered as a pen option before all is said and done this season.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I'm all for making Touki a spot. He's fun. But he has a probable inning limit coming up as well (yea yea, old school guys won't like it). He might be coming back for good next weekend (so he might have even passed Fried, surprising).

I think he makes a few starts in the 6 man rotation and shifts to the pen sometime in September.

Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Bowman thinks Touki is going to start down in Miami next weekend.

I sure hope so. He has earned another turn in the rotation.

Somebody's got to be the designated headhunter to return the favor - probably running out of innings for him before he reaches that limit anyway.

Urena isn't going to start that series, and that's who should be thrown at. They're going to drop the appeal over that series.

Also to add, while yes, Touki has a probable inning limit, its actually a bit higher than may be thought by some.

He threw 145 innings last year (actually 153 if you count the AFL), so that limit is probably 175-180 and he's at 129.1 IP now.

He might have surpassed Fried, there's no way of telling, and is coming back to make a few starts in a 6 man (might also be skipping Newcomb here?), then headed to the bullpen later on.

Pache’s arm is nuts. He ended game one of the DH yesterday by throwing a guy out at third. Here’s the video. https://twitter.com/mbraves/status/1...634618880?s=21

WOW! Ranging to his left throwing an accurate dart back to his right that's insane that he got any arm into that at all!

I guess the Chattanooga player hasn't heard the thing about not making the third out at third base. Great throw though.

I'm somewhat old school, but I'm all for innings limits on these guys if they are figured out correctly. Game is much different now.
