The game is half over and it's taken two hours. As Skip Caray would've said, "we're moving merrily along."

In all objectivity, it looks like Julio is getting pitches called his way that the Cards pitchers aren't. I'll take it since we've certainly seen it happen against our pitchers from time to time.

If this continues we'll need a new line-up with Riley clean-up and Donaldson back at his favorite spot?

I wouldn’t mind seeing Acuna, Donaldson, Freeman, Riley as the top 4 at some point.

Honestly, Riley was the juice this offense needed. They’ve been in a collective slump since the Dodgers series. Still are.

Swanson doesn't belong in the two hole regardless.

yea the runs scored outside of the error and Culberson's late homer last night are all connect to what Riley has done so far.

I think it was Enscheff and a few others who weren't onboard with that move. I say put him lower in the order. No stress and let him keep figuring it out. Markakis would be sweet in that spot. I may be alone in that thought.

yea, good start by Webb at least with the DP. Teheran was strong tonight outside of the pitch count and nibbling leading to walks.

Teheran's ERA down to a decent 3.88 as his runner is out on the double play.
