Bour isn't very good. Reports last week I saw said Ramos isn't expected to be up before the end of August. But a report yesterday says he is aiming for a mid August return. Who knows really.

Venters and Brach have been big pick-ups for us so far and we gave up little for them. AA did real well there. Gausman looks like he might be a steal so far too.

Phillies got him for us as he kills us, check his numbers vs the Braves. I read Ramos was already starting a rehab so barring any setbacks I could still see mid-August. But either way he should be sharp by the time we face them and he can hit a lot better than their other catchers.

The games with Washington/Philly this month are probably going to be the biggest tailsign of the end of the year. Also play a series in September as well.

Does Washington make this a 3 team race, or does Philly squash them for good?

brewers issues today seemed in part due to a tired pen, which might be their downfall if their starters don't go deeper in games more often. Unless they add arms before Sept.

im Not sure I would call Venters’ performance today good, but certainly his presence and Bravh’s has been an improvement.

He wasn't as sharp in giving up two hits, but he struck out a lefty that hits lefties well and made a great pitch to get that DP ball to clean up that mess. So hard to say it's not good when he got good results and gave up no runs. Plus he was facing all righties minus the lefty he K'd. Yea, I'd say that is pretty good for someone supposed to be our lefty specialist.

We sure did as a team, give up 19 hits and still winning 8-7 on 9 hits doesn't happen often. I do think us getting to their tired bullpen was key.

Aa said he tried to get a lh hitting infielder. He just didn’t get it done. I would have loved moose but not for the package he took. I wanted Santana from the twins.

I still think there is a shot at a waiver deal.

Huge win, back in tie for first. I wish I could've seen the game.

I really wonder if Newcombe should be the fifth starter and you use off days and spot starts to get him pitching every 6 plus days.

Too close to call, Soto is in a slump and leaving the door open for Ronnie. I could see Co-ROYs, tbh.
