Don’t worry, I’d imagine people who’ve lied to Congressional committees will probably be at the front of the line.

Tangentially, the absolute infatuation on the part of conservative media with AOC is an ongoing amusement.

This is what cracks me up.

This was irresponsible of her to say. But you just can't bring yourself to admit that. She's on your team after all

To this point, it's actually concerning the comment was from a full-blown socialist...

It probably was improper for her to say. It’s probably also pretty far down the list of problematic public statements by politicians in the last 48 hours. Just don’t try to sell me the fact that you, or Ben Shapiro, actually give a ****. That act is beyond tired. My point was that at least she was talking about someone who’s quite ripe for subpoenas to multiple committees.

Speaking of Venezuela, their currency is worth less than gold in world of warcraft. At the rate its going it will be worth less than Monopoly money this time next year. On the bright side the wheel barrel industry is booming in Venezuela..... because you need it to carry all the cash you need to buy anything.

The right wing media's obsession and scrutinization of AOC is hilarious.

She really is the new witch to hunt after. They know Pelosi is going to be in charge and if Trump has any hope whatsoever of Pelosi working with him he and Fox News are shifting everyone's attention to AOC instead. They've used Pelosi as a GOTV card for the last few years and now they need her to try to get anything done.

Have to admit they didnt even give Bernie this much attention and hes arguably more of a "socialist" than AOC is. Because they were too busy with their Hillary obsession. Just goes to show you it has less to do with "socialism" but the right instead just playing identity politics to insecure white men.

I'm curious if the right should ignore all of her ignorant, dumb, and dangerous commentary?

Like, what do you want us to do. Her solution to everything is to make it free, and her proposal to pay for it covers only 5% of the cost of doing so.

She plays the victim card whenever anyone criticizes her and now she's pulling the authority card.

She is a darling on the left and is on media 24/7 making these gaffes.

And yall get annoyed when people call her out?

    I dont get it.

    lol.

She's one member in a legislative body of 435.

The irony of AOC (whom I don't even agree with on everything, same as I was with Bernie), is she's closer to having lived the struggle of the "forgotten American" that the right kept giving Trump credit for not forgetting about. Trump is someone who was born on 3rd base, and acts like he built something from scratch. Most Trump supporters are arguably just as ignorant as AOC on fiscal issues, but they love Trump because he "tells it like it is" and speaks his ignorance. They love that Trump was brought in to drain the swamp when he's made the swamp even worse, if not let it run wild more than before he arrived. The worst part is he admits he doesn't care about draining the swamp. AOC is CLEARLY not from the swamp, and so far it doesn't appear she has any ties to the swamp. If Trumpers cared about bipartisanship and draining the swamp, they would realize AOC would be someone they have a better chance to get something done with, than someone like Trump who doesn't care about poor people, doens't care about vets, doesn't care about middle class families, doesn't care about the common man at all.

AOC would be someone way more pragmatic to deal with past her rhetoric, because she's actually worked with normal people in her life. As evidenced by Tillerson's comments, Trump is arguably just as clueless about how things are run in Government, if Rex has to tell him it's illegal to do what he wants to do and Rex never worked in government before he was hired as SoS. For Trump it's his way or no way, either way he just wants to take credit for anything he thinks can make him look good like at true narcissist.

The fact the right keeps portraying AOC as this dangerous person is what I'm most humored by. She's not in charge of any committees, caucuses or House Leadership. She's not the first person to propose medicare for all, or college for all. But she is the perfect Voldemorte for the right wing. Pelosi's clock is running out. Warren isn't a threat. Hillary is politically finished. AOC is young, hispanic, and speaks her mind with a chance to rep that district for a while. She is the perfect new anti-christ for them to complain about.

One of the fine people found on both sides, neo-Nazi James Fields, found guilty on 10 counts including first-degree murder, in the Charlottesville vehicular assault.

I don't know why you insist on bringing this back to Trump or Trump supporters.

    Here's what I think.

AOC use the power of government to threaten someone who was trolling her online.

This gets the attention of some folks and you're like "LOL why they so obsessed with her?? Obvi bc they all RACISTS!!!!"

AOC is dangerous because she's really ****ing good at making people like her. She works her ass off and is motivated like hell to make some serious changes. She's the new darling of the left, and the media - much like Beto O'Rourke by the way (think of a way you can spin that as racist too) - is in love with her.

So they invite her on their shows and she says a bunch of ignorant stupid **** that is actually crazy. Much like you call out Trump's stupidity, why can't we also call out hers?

She's going to get attention because she's getting a lot of attention. Go figure.

I haven't criticized anything about her other than her ideas. I don't bother talking about her shoes, or her race (but you can't resist to make the accusation)... I only talk about her ideas, and recognize she's dangerous bc:

    1. Has the left eating out of her hand

    2. Is good at making people like her, is genuine, and works really ****ing hard (which is commendable by the way)

    3. Her ideas are actually insane and she frankly doesn't seem to understand math.

The above is a bad combo for people who want smaller government and economic freedom

AOC is God's gift to sturg.

From where I sit a lot of her views are pure crackpot. The funny part is Ron Paul's ideas are even more crackpot.
    "I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."

    "I am your retribution."

Maybe they were... but at least they were mathematically possible, and focused on individual's having the liberty to make their own choices. I'll take that all day over the government deciding for me
