Zeet, you are my little bro that I love. And being a catcher like AJ size I can understand your viewpoint, but some of us who played baseball like, we can tell things just like you. Gilesfan said he has family where I came from. He can ask his family members about Finley and Shumpert (who dated my cousin, who to this day regretted dumping him because she thought she was Beyonce), I played with them both on the traveling teams. I played along side both 3rd/LF but I was the younger of the group. I was not on their level (LOL) mechanically wise, but athletically better than both, but basketball was my calling so I quit. Mechanics on a pitcher grows through maturation some will change some don't. We do not know if they are willing to listen (Hanson) or will (Wisler) because I saw some Mad Dog like command from him in that game...his first effing game. Not like he wanted to strike them out, just get them out with any means necessary with minimum effort....aka Mad Dog. Mechanics be damned in that scenario.

If you couldn't see the flaw in Tommy Hanson's mechanics when he was pitching live or on TV, you're zeets.
Minor I've always felt was a matter of time. Teheran is due for shoulder problems soon.

You've proven (as my sig indicates) you have something you're looking for in mechanics that's probably not that important. And for you I think it's because you're looking for more of a fluid winder. Less of someone who has a break at times where what you lead up to isn't necessary. For Hanson his hitch could have been just wasteful and not poor mechanically but it was poor mechanically.

Look at his minor league stats. That's how you'll tell.
Look at the projections, they all tell the same story. He's likely headed for some regression. He is his best case scenario, and while there is the chance he could keep it up at that level, what are the odds of that happening?

No I said offensively he's like TLS without his BABIP skills and has worse power. Defensively I said he'd be better and in the base paths he'd be better.
As far as why. Look at the minors. His minor league career iso was .124, the only levels he showed power were A+ and AAA. That is the key to his overall numbers. Cal and PCL are 2 of the most offensive and power friendly leagues out there and often inflate those numbers.

If that was the case you'd see a major discrepancy.
Ryan howard came into the majors around the same age as Peterson, his minorleague career iso was .250 his major league his major league .260. That's with a different shift mind you as well of Howard moving to a hitter friendly park from less than hitter friendly confines.
I could continue the list, but it would find out that in general your power doesn't peak that late. This isn't the old era when guys were malnourished and poorly prepared for the bigs. Guys now a days are fast tracked and minors are built to churn out top players immediately.
